SPANISH AND CATALAN COURSES FOR FOREIGNERS
Students that complete the Spanish or Catalan Course for Foreigners will acquire a strong base which will allow them to communicate accurately and fluently. Learning a language in an exciting and fascinating city as Barcelona will offer students a direct experience of Spanish culture and traditions, improving their learning skills in class and allowing them the opportunity to practice the language in real situations.
Regular Course Methodology
The main goal of the Spanish or Catalan Course for Foreigners is that students become capable of dealing with everyday situations with accuracy and fluency. We will provide students with the necessary tools in order to communicate successfully in the language they are studying.
Our teaching method is based on the putting into practice of the concepts that the students have just learned into everyday situations through work in pairs and/or in group in class. The activities are organized in order that a balance exists between theoretical concepts, oral practice and exercises centred on the students’ accurate communicative abilities.

Course Content
Each student must do a Spanish or Catalan level test consisting of an oral interview and a written exam in order to determine their level. In addition, the coordinator of the corresponding language department will conduct a survey in class at the beginning of the course to detect the students’ satisfaction. The gathered information will be compared to the results of a final survey conducted at the end of the course.
The student’s performance will be assessed according to his or her engagement during class and the progress examinations that will be carried out at the end of each 50 hours set. At the end of each course, students will receive a report describing in detail his or her progress in the following five areas: Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening, Grammar and Vocabulary. Likewise, a certificate indicating they have passed the course.
Monthly Courses: Rates and Days
1:30h class once a week, 6 hours a month: 95€ a month (for one student per class).
1:30h class twice a week, 12 hours a month: 85€ a month (for two or more students per class).
Intensive Courses
1 Week Intensive Course: 120€ /15 hours (3 hours a day from Monday to Friday, minimum 2 students per class).
2 Week Intensive Course: 220€ /30 hours (3 hours a day from Monday to Friday, minimum 2 students per class).
3 Week Intensive Course: 360€ /30 hours (3 hours a day from Monday to Friday, minimum 2 students per class).

1 hour private class: 16,50€
15 hour private class pack:15€ per hour
